1. Essential authentication cookies

Supabase authentication uses cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated, refresh sessions, and protect account routes. These cookies are necessary to provide an account session and are not used for advertising.

2. Session storage for interrupted uploads

When a large encrypted upload is interrupted, FiniteRelay can place short-lived resume state in your browser's session storage. It includes upload identifiers and client-side cryptographic resume material so the same browser tab can continue the upload. It expires after about 15 minutes and can be discarded from the upload interface. It does not contain the original file.

3. Optional Guide measurement and advertising

Blog and Guide pages may load Google Privacy & Messaging, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense. These services can process consent choices, page events, approximate location, browser and device details, advertising identifiers, and cookies or similar storage when permitted. Consent defaults for advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and analytics storage are denied until an applicable choice updates them.

Google's certified consent platform presents the available choices where required. Limited requests without advertising or analytics storage can still occur under Google's advanced consent mode. FiniteRelay disables Google signals in its Analytics configuration and does not send Relay content, decryption material, account pages, or receiver-page events to these tools.

4. Strict product boundary

Advertising and analytics scripts are confined to the Guide section. They are not loaded on Relay creation, sign-in, account, checkout, administration, receipt, or decryption routes. Movement between Guides and the product uses a full document navigation so a Guide's third-party script context is not carried into the Relay interface.

5. Affiliate links

A clearly marked affiliate link can include a partner referral parameter in the destination URL. Clicking it takes you to a separate provider, which applies its own storage and privacy practices. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Your controls

You can remove cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or account functions from working. Closing the tab clears session storage in most browsers. When Google's consent service is active, a Privacy choices control appears in the footer of Guide pages so you can revisit or withdraw that choice. Questions can be sent to auth@finiterelay.com.
